First, adjust exposure and color temperature.
Then, adjust the sharp and noise reduction which will enlarge the display magnification of the image from 100 to 1600%.
The high frequency noise is the false color of the pixel unit ( 1, 2 pixels ).
It depends on the influence of the Bayer array largely.
On the other hand, the low frequency noise is the color noise which occurs by dozens of pixel unit.
It depends on the number of pixels of the camera, but it has a red, blue, yellow
mottled pattern.
This occurs when you take a high-sensitivity picture.
This is a setting for a photograph which was taken with low-sensitivity of ISO100-200.
These values are used to remove the noise completely while keeping the sharpness.
Also it is the balkline to be adjustable according to the machinery of the use and the photography condition of the use.

We have been receiving a lot of request "to support non-supported digital camera.
However, SILKYPIX can only work with models which has the image pickup device (CCD/CMOS) of the primary color bayer array.
An example of an incompatible camera:
1.The honey array model made by Fuji Photo Film Co., Ltd., (For example: S3Pro, S2Pro and so on).
2.The foveon model made by Sigma Corporation. (For example: SD10, SD9)
3.The model which has CCD and uses the complementary colors system. (For example: Nikon Coolpix5700 and so on)
4.The model which has CCD except for the primary color bayer array. (For example: SONY F828 and so on )
Silkypix Developer Studio is updated as soon as a new digital camera is introduced to the market.
Therefore, by the time a new model is introduced to the market then we will make the necessary revision to support the new digital camera.
Also, sometimes, we will add a new function or correct a problem when we are doing the revisions. In short, we highly recommend using the latest version.
If you are comfortable with your current version then please continue to use it. You will not have any problem using your current version.
We will leave it up to you if would like to use the latest version of SILKYPIX or not.
We recommend downloading the latest version.
(Please refer to the release note that we attached it for each version.)
* Please keep in mind, we cannot support all of the digital cameras that are in the current market due to different model types.
Furthermore, we cannot promise how soon we would be able to support these models.
We hope you could understand our situation.
We are trying to support as soon as possible to the digital camera which is put on the market.
However, we can not promise support for all new digital cameras.
We are not able to support it by the type of models.
Also, we can not promise the time when we start to support these models.
We hope you will understand our situation.
* By the fastest, we supported the digital camera on the publication day.
In former results, in case of the digital camera with massed produce single lens reflex camera type, we support within about 1 week after sale to a lot of models.
Also, we supported within about 1 week after sale to a lot of models.
However, in case of the professional camera and the compact camera, we have the case that support takes time.
The development procedure of SILKYPIX is a high speed processing function.
Because of the heavy processing, it will take some time to process the images.
By using extremely advanced image processing, SILKYPIX can achieve high quality development.
To fully take advantage of the SILKYPIX, your PC should be compatible with the camera that you are using.
*If you feel the performance of your PC is a problem, we recommend using a PC with a high throughput e.g. a dual processor.
Also, if you are using a digital camera that has more than 10,000,000 pixels, we recommend using a PC with more than 1 GB of memory.
SILKYPIX can process the RAW data of a digital camera and create image.
However, it is impossible to set theJPEG/TIFF file parameters or retouch the image.
The read in and the display can be done by the JPEG/TIFF file.
Also, it is possible to do the following operation.
a. Changing Display Magnification during Preview
b. Highlight/Shadow/Outside of the Color Gamut Warnings
c. Histogram (Only in the display, it isn't possible to do operation.)
d. Displaying EXIF Information
e. Outline Preview
f. Rotating Pictures
g. Printing
This is a problem by the set value of the development parameter.
In the default setting of the development parameter of SILKYPIX, the saturation becomes the setting of being high when comparing the developing procedure of genuine product.
Therefore, depending on the photography scene, the over exposure and the under exposure occur more than the development result of genuine product.
If adjusting a development parameter in the following operation, it is possible to perform various developing process, including approaching to the development result of the genuine product.
1.Set to lower the saturation and the exposure bias adjustment value.
2.Set to lower the gamma.
3.Set a tone curve.
4.Change a color mode.
Moreover, the control of the color creation in highlight area can be adjusted with "Highlight controller".
SILKYPIX, uses an advanced speed-up processing so, this software places a heavy load on your PC.
Sometimes when using SILKYPIX and another software at the same time, the other software may not work properly is normal.
This is due to the load that exceeds the throughput of the PC.
"Specific example of problems"
1.It isn't possible to play a DVD.
2.A communication error with the wireless LAN occurred.
3.It isn't possible to use the printer.
When these problems do occur, please do the following to resolve the problem.
1) Add additional memory.
2) Use a PC with a faster processor.
Ex: Use a PC that has a CPU with a higher clock speed.
3)When using SILKYPIX, do not use the other software at the same time.
There is a possibility of a flaw in SILKYPIX or with your PC. SILKYPIX places a heavy load on your PC. When using SILKYPIX and another software at the same time, this error may occur.
From the "Setting for troubleshooting" we provide a setting called "To develop slowly". This setting is used if the above problem occurs. When you place a check mark on this setting and see improvements (for example, the problem is solved or the number of errors occurred has decreased.) there is a possibility that the problem may be your PC.
However, if you do the above procedure and the problem persists then there is a very high possibility that SILKYPIX has a bug.
If this happens, please email us the details of the problem to our technical support at our support form.
We will do our best to resolve the problem.
(If the program has a bug, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to correct the problem.)
[Examples of specific problems with the Windows edition]
1.A Blue-Back (an error message is displayed on a blue screen) occurs.
2.The PC resets itself to protect from overheating or shuts down.
3.An error occurs in Windows.
In conclusion, there could be a problem with your hardware or your CPU is running too hot which might cause problems to your PC. In addition, you may not have enough memory.
